EP&T is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its own business operations and to providing products and services to its clients to help them to do likewise.

In early 2007 EP&T carried out an assessment of its environmental impacts and set out improvement targets and an action plan for achieving those targets. This resulted in the formal adoption of EP&T’s corporate environmental policy.

This process will be repeated on an annual basis, with the aim of achieving continual improvement in EP&T's environmental performance, year-on-year.

Environmental Policy

EP&T Pty Ltd is committed to sound environmental practices. As a leader in the field of energy, water and waste management, we recognise our environmental obligations both locally and internationally. EP&T strives towards environmental best practice in all our business operations and is committed to implementing the requirements of all relevant international, Commonwealth and State environmental legislation and regulations.

As a responsible business we have procedures in place to minimise risk in every one of our operations – from ensuring the safety and quality of our products to the safety of employees, customers and contractors in our workplace. By operating safely we reduce any potential risk our business may present to the environment.

We are aware of our responsibility to raise awareness of environmental issues and promote environmental sustainability to our staff, clients and the general public. In order to achieve this goal we are striving to become an example of corporate environmental best practice in our own operations and are helping our clients to do so also.

In order to improve our environmental performance we have carried out an initial environmental review and set the following objectives and targets:

Objective 1 - Reduce the amount of greenhouse gases resulting from EP&T’s operations and use 100% renewable energy

Objective 2 - Reduce the environmental impact from EP&T Global's manufacturing

The success of EP&T Global is intrinsically linked with developing a sustainable future for the communities of which it is a part. EP&T takes its responsibility towards its employees, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders seriously, and will treat all with respect and fairness. EP&T aims to help develop strong and prosperous futures for the communities it has joined around the world.

EP&T recognises that its operations have an impact on the environment. Through minimising the direct impact of its actions and providing solutions to clients to reduce their own environmental impact, EP&T's goal is to ensure that the result of its operations on the environment becomes net positive.

EP&T believes it can make a significant long-term contribution to the local and national economies in which it participates through helping the development of the global market for corporate energy and water saving products and services.
